Director, Global University Recruitment
As the Director of Global University Recruitment Meagan is responsible for strategy development and diagnosis of talent acquisition needs for Western Digital. She creates, designs and develops programs to address talent gaps and aligns talent needs with business objectives. By partnering with the senior leadership team and hiring managers, Meagan determines innovative strategies to recruit top talent from key universities globally. Utilizing metrics and coaching to develop recruiters, Meagan’s goal is to build, manage and inspire a world-class, high- performing global University Recruitment team, and one that can effectively scale for the future.
Combining an astute understanding of global recruitment and training with a deep understanding of the business, Meagan takes a consultative approach to program design and execution. Her holistic approach includes consideration of talent and human capital management, looking at training programs from a candidate and new hire experience, as well as a strategic business development standpoint. Assessing programs for on-trend competitiveness, Meagan is strategically positioned to take Western Digital to the next level.
Prior to joining Western Digital, Meagan most recently led the Training and Recruitment function for Oliver Wyman’s Asia Pacific region based in Singapore. While with Oliver Wyman, Meagan gained a cross-cultural talent management perspective, which lends itself to her contributions and success in a multinational organization and global leadership role.
Meagan graduated magna cum laude from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
In her personal life, Meagan lives in Newport Beach with her wife, Brandy; son, Owen; and mutt, Kirby. Her interests include exploring the world with her loved ones, running on the beach, surfing, volunteering her time for local charities and organizations and cheering on the local sports teams (Go Angels!).
